Ladywell House

We were asked by the owners of this unique country house in Devon, which sits astride a stream, to design an extension,  rethink the interior layout, and make light touches on the exterior.

The intention behind our extension design is to make a bright and spacious new heart of the house, which frames the view over the stream and the forest beyond. By doing this the rear side of the house becomes the new front side of the house, airy and suitable for contemporary living. 

The minimal extension design, with its skylights, brings in heaps of daylight, dining comfort and food prep functionality.
