We turned the existing underlit and compartmentalised apartment into an open plan living area with separate bedrooms. Kitchen counter serves as an axis around which daily life revolves. 

The industrial-style steel and glass doors to the bedrooms and bathroom offer a firm, yet permeable threshold between the shared and private areas of the apartment, and bring in an amount of flexibility to the use.
