We would also devise a process detailing how we can help with some or all project phases:
1. Vision, Strategy and Consultancy
2. Design and Concepts
3. Realisation
We have an extensive end to end experience in this; setting out strategic briefs, devising design concepts, securing planning, creating bespoke solutions, specifying products and materials, construction detailing, managing tender processes, liaising with building control and supervising construction on site.
We regularly collaborate with engineers, marketing consultants, makers and specialists to deliver outstanding projects in accordance to our clients’ vision. We also regularly collaborate with artists, academics and educators on art projects that are pushing the boundaries of architectural practice. Each partner hand picked as the right person for the job in hand.
Learn more about our design approach and studio viewpoint through the following case studies:
We take calculated risks in our residential projects to deliver spaces that radiate “joie de vivre”, spaces that are outside-the-box, have individual character, and are reliable and versatile for everyday living. We ensure that our designs add both tangible and intangible value to our clients’ lives. (→ Keramikos House)
For office and studio fit-outs we devise design strategies that bring out the strengths and character of the building shell we work with. Our solutions are contemporary, airy, functional, flexible, person-centred and easy to maintain. (→ The Factory)
In our commercial and hospitality projects we work in accordance to branding and marketing strategies to deliver exceptional, recognizable and creative environments to house viable and highly competitive businesses. (→ Nosakhari Store)
For our Arts & Culture project we come up with unconventional designs to set them apart from residential or commercial projects. It is imperative for us that the audience can get immersed in the otherness and magic that art is compared to our daily lives.
(→ LCMF)
Expanding our academic work, at Central Saint Martins and University of Westminster we regularly organise private workshops and summer schools that bring together performance and architecture. Participants playfully explore the relationship of the body and space through collaborative exercises finding new ways to interpret our built environment. (→ Performance Architecture)
Through our concept projects we explore unorthodox ideas, challenge our architectural practice and imaginatively reflect on acute social issues. This helps us open up new ways of looking at the future of design and new ways of looking at society and what its needs might be in 50 or a 100 years’ time. (→ Walking Circles)
