Design of two new build semi-detached houses in a hilly suburb of Athens. The client, a judge of the supreme court of Greece, asked for a “split house” design for his growing family.
The design took full advantage of the sloping terrain, ensuring privacy for each of the two houses, and providing extensive underground car park. A long stone wall follows the site boundary and serves as an axis for a cluster of boxy volumes that form the two units. We undertook this project from concept to completion.
