With our friends, we organised White Tunnel Commensality to bring together near-death experiences, mourning and social practice of sharing food.
Near-death experiences appear to unfold in transient, irrational realms in which behaviours, thoughts, memories, instincts and desires are freed from individual and social boundaries and repressions.
We evoke this fantastic realm through a commensal event, letting go of individuality through sharing food and interacting through sharing abstract and absurd narratives.
