We devised Round House as a site-specific installation that will inaugurate the development of a cliff-side site located on the Greek mainland coast.
The site, which will later on hold three hospitality suites blended in the landscape, has no existing structures in place. The Round House will introduce an idea of a built structure to the site.
It will be built from construction material reclaimed from the area, using only stacking without fixings or bonds. Its shape and name are a nod to its Neolithic namesake.
The structure also provides a temporary sunset-watching platform and acts as a landmark to the boats passing along the coast.
